Towards sustainable wastewater treatment by using new advanced technologies
Water treatment is the process of removing undesirable chemical, physical and biological contaminants from raw or contaminated water. The purpose is to produce suitable water for a specific application. Water treatment may be designed for a variety of applications, including meeting the requirements of human consumption (potable water), medical and pharmacology, chemical and industrial applications. In order to develop sustainable wastewater treatment it is needed to view the wastewater treatment systems in wider perspectives.
